The Ottawa Executives' Association is an exclusive business networking organization which was founded in Ottawa in 1936. "OXA" is comprised of a variety of national, regional and privately owned businesses each represented by a senior executive. It is an organization of leading businesses and professional practices. The Association exists solely for benefit of its members through the exchange of direct business, leads, referrals, and business information. OXA is a founding member of the International Executives' Association, with more than eighty similar associations located in North America, Great Britain, South Africa and Australia .

Founded in 1936, OXA has met weekly for over 65 years, and its membership is comprised of leading businesses from the Ottawa area. A number of member firms are founding members of OXA, and have maintained their memberships for over six decades. These include Armstrong & Richardson Limited and Hulse Playfair & McGarry Funeral Homes.

OXA is governed by a member-elected Board of Directors which administers and plans all activities. The Association maintains an office and is administered by an Executive Coordinator.

With only one member firm approved in any business category, membership is exclusive. A key executive, an owner, major stockholder, or top administrator is selected to represent the firm. Both the name of the company and the names of the representative(s) are listed in the Member's Directory found on this web site.
